To the people who say that Obama only said this to benefit his election campaign, may I remind you that more people are opposed to same-sex marriages and homosexuality. So it would be pointless and harmful for him to say this if he had the election to mind. Furthermore, Obama has spoke positively about homosexuality before. Why do homosexuals have to find negativity in everything… This is a big change for people like me, so embrace what he said. After all, he is one of the most leading figures in the world and his influence is strong.

Personally, this is his response to the backward state that is North Carolina.
